What A Deal!

This dollhouse sold for $15.50 on eBay this month! And all I could think was, why couldn't I live in Hayward, California! This one was for pick-up only, and could not be shipped. Granted, it is in clear need of TLC ... but $15.50? There are gorgeous wood wall panels on the first floor, and working doors: just to name a few of the features. I say it is a real bargain, and whoever won it better have tons of fun making it over ... or feel free to mail it to me!

A Thanksgiving Dinner

Merry Christmas and season's greetings to all of you ... and speaking of delectable meals, here is a mini room-box that looks good enough to eat!

It is a Thanksgiving dinner actually. The table is set with mashed potatoes, corn, cranberries, peas and carrots, salad, green beans, jello mold, asparagus, rolls, preserves, Brussels sprouts, olives, pickles and ice tea. To the right of the table is a black étagère filled with seasonal items and to the left is a working grandfather clock. In the back is a hutch filled with a selection of pies, to top off the night with sugar rush!

Ready For Christmas

The Roberts' household is bustling with Christmas festivities! This decorated 1:12 scale dollhouse sold for about $169 on eBay last week ~ and what a prize it was! The sage and dusky rose color palette is a little deviant from the obvious crimson and forest green Christmas color scheme. I love the subtle and tasteful decoration: how the house is cozy without being cluttered. It warms my heart every time I see the photos, and I wish she gives as much joy to her new family!

Handcrafted Dollhouse ~ 1930's

I saw this darling dollhouse on eBay, and thought it would be a wonderful inspiration piece for any dollhouse artisan! This is made of solid wood, with a lot of handcrafted details. It is estimated to be from around the 1930's.
